Civic issues
Topics getting the most attention in Bountiful City public meetings, ranked by how frequently they come up.
South Davis Greenway Project
The City reviewed the completed South Davis Greenway Feasibility Study, which proposes a 10.8-mile shared-use path connecting North Salt Lake, Bountiful, Centerville, and Farmington. Council members discussed potential impacts on driveways, utility poles, winter maintenance costs, and community outreach before formal acceptance at a future meeting.
Keller Stone Creek Subdivision Preliminary Plat
The commission will hold a public hearing and review the preliminary plat for the Keller Stone Creek Subdivision at 1320 East Bountiful Boulevard. Residents near the property can weigh in on how the new subdivision layout affects the neighborhood.
Commercial Property Redevelopment
The city evaluated a final site plan for a long-vacant commercial parcel near Village on Main. Commissioners debated whether the front-parking layout fit the General Plan's goals for active streetscapes before ultimately recommending approval with advisory notes for extra landscaping.
Orchard Drive Corridor Development
Planning staff are reviewing traffic, land use, and development patterns along Orchard Drive. The study helps guide future planning decisions and road safety improvements.
